Operational Procedure for Freight Handling
Import –Sea Freight
- The following procedures are followed to handle sea import
shipment.
- Once the pre –alert is received we open a file for each
individual account.
- Once the original or copy document is in our hand we do the
followings.
- Notify the Consignee.
- Ask the shipping lines to prepare Import General Manifest.
- Hand over the Original OB/L to the shipping line.
- Give the NOC to the consignee when all custom papers are
ready.
Import –Air Freight
- The following procedures are followed to handle air import
shipment.
- Notify the Consignee
- Give the NOC to the consignee for clearing the goods upon
receiving paper bank documents.
Export –Sea Freight
- The following procedures are followed to handle sea export
shipment.
- The shipper will make necessary booking with us.
- Once the Invoice and Packing list and cargo in our hand with
custom clearance we stuff the cargo and
notify the shipper of every process as well as the destination agent.
Export –Air Freight
- The following procedures are followed to handle air export
shipment.
- Once the Invoice and Packing list are received.
- Book the necessary space in Airlines.
- Load the cargo on the Airlines.
- Notify the shipper of every process as well as the destination
agent.
Unique Order Follow Up Procedure
- Every Monday we send to our agents the current order follow up
of their shipment with the information
required by them.
- This is also done daily when needed
